John Foy?
John
Foy is a chef, former owner of three award-winning restaurants,
an accomplished wine and food writer, restaurant
consultant, and a former tax accountant with Price Waterhouse
(now PriceWaterhouseCoopers).
He
was the chef and owner of three restaurants, The Tarragon Tree;
Le Delice, and Sonoma Grill; each had a significant impact on dining
in New Jersey.
John
Foy works with private wine collectors
wanting to create or enhance their wine collection.
Along with his writing, John Foy has been conducting classes and
seminars on wine since the early 1980s.
He
is a member of The Wine Media
Guild and its former vice-president from the mid-1990s to 2006.
He is president of a New Jersey chapter of La
Chaine des Rotisseurs, the oldest culinary society in the world
(founded in France in 1248); a member of the New York chapter of
The Wine and Food Society and a member of
Le Ordre des Compagnons du Beaujolais. |
